Sunpower announce a new family of Mean Well energy efficiency Level VI desktop adapters which are truly green to the latest internationally-accepted energy efficiency regulations. These series – GST120A, GST90A, GST60A and GST40A – are rated at 120W, 90W, 60W and 40W respectively, and all meet the Energy Independence and Security Act’s new EISA 2007/DoE Level VI standard.
The GST family are an upgraded version of the established GS Series’, they feature a no-load power consumption which is below 0.15W and an average operating efficiency superior to that of the Level V approves GS Series. The new products therefore contribute more effectively to energy saving and carbon reduction targets in both no-load and operating modes.
The GST products all accept universal 90 – 264VAC inputs via IEC320-C14 AC Class 1 inlets with frame ground, and all have a built-in power factor correction function. With their fanless, free air convection cooling design, they can operate in temperatures from -30°C to +70°C. The adaptors are housed within a 94V-0 flame retardant plastic case and have full protection from short circuit, overload, over voltage and over temperature conditions. A LED indicator allows easy checking of their Power On status.
All series comply with further global energy efficiency regulations including NRCan, AU/NZMEPS, EU ErP and CoC Version 5. They are also approved for UL/CUL/TUV/BSMI/CCC/PSE/CB/FCC/CE and have a 3-year warranty.
