Mean Well has announced the introduction of DR-30 and DR-60 series – 30W / 60W Single Output Class II DIN rail switching power supplies for the fast growing demand of the DIN rail segment. With Class II protection levels, DR-30 and DR-60 series provide users with a safer operating environment as the plastic case is free from hazardous leakage current.
Featuring up to 86% of high efficiency, this series can be cooled by free air convection to significantly increase the reliability and lifetime of the power supply. Complying with the safety and EMC requirements of EN50178, which is mainly for power distribution aspects, the low profile switchers are suitable to be installed in a power distribution box or a control cabinet and hence the major application fields are building automation and household appliance control.
Dedicated to the design of first class switching power supplies we have paid more and more attention to the DIN rail application field during the last few years and, except for the complete industrial DIN rail SPS product lines, offer double isolation throughout the product line.
