Sunpower have launched a new family of high reliability power supplies that offer higher levels of performance and efficiency and low no load power consumption. HRP(G)-600 Series are the second product from this family of AC/DC enclosed power supplies, with PFC function, that fulfil the requirements of EN61000-3-2 for harmonic current.
Standard functions of HRP-600 and HRPG-600 include 300VAC input surge immunity for 5 seconds, DC OK signal, LED indicator, heavy industry level of EMS immunity (EN61000-6-2), and short circuuit, over load (constant current limiting), over voltage and over temperature protections. Featuring up to 89% of high efficiency and 6.77W/in3 of power density, they can provide 600W continuously up to 50°C, assisted by the built-in DC fan with speed control function.
HRP(G)-600 Series
With more and more end systems using the requirements of Energy Star and EuP norms as a selling feature the HRPG-600 Series, with its additional remote ON/OFF control and 5V/0.3A standby output which help it to acheive no load power consumption <0.5W, is ideally suited and makes the design process much easier. Suitable applications for both HRP-600 and HRPG-600 are general electronic applications, factory automation, moving sign, test and equipment, and all usage that require low no load power consumption.
