New to the range of high reliability power supplies available from Sunpower are HRP-75 Series, 75W full range AC input enclosed power supply with PFC function. This new range complies with the ever growing energy saving requirements by providing low no-load power consumption (<0. 5W), which allows the designers easily conform to the requirements of Energy Star and EuP norm for end systems, and high operating efficiency up to 89%. HRP-75 Series have been miniaturised, compared to previous generations of power supplies, and now fit the 1U low profile of rack chassis. These enclosed power supplies can be cooled by only free air convection from -30 to +70C ambient temperature. The built in PFC function meets the requirements of EN61000-3-2 for harmonic current and the units can also withstand 300VAC of input surge, for 5 seconds, making them ideal for applications where the AC mains can be unstable. Other standard features include remote on/off control, short circuit, over load (constant current mode), over voltage and over temperature protections. Typical applications include factory automation, test and measurement equipment, electrical and mechanical industries and LED displays.
