The ICL-16R Series is a 16A inrush current limiter that can be used to reduce the high starting current which causes the circuit breaker to be falsely triggered. Several power supplies can be installed on the same AC line after the implementation of an ICL-16.

The ICL-16R Series is a 16A inrush current limiter that can be used to reduce the high starting current, due to the capacitive or inductive load, which causes the circuit breaker to be false triggered.
The ICL-16R Series acts as a buffer and allows for more PSU’s to be installed on the same AC line without tripping the breaker.
This product is most commonly installed in lighting applications where there are multiple PSU’s powering individual light fittings on a circuit and where the combined inrush to the PSU’s would cause the circuit breaker to trip. This could either be on a conventional lighting circuit or a KNX controlled circuit,
