The CB6012A is a 12V 5A DIN rail or wall-mounted battery charger designed for industrial-grade performance and reliable operation. It integrates a smart IUoU 5-stage charging algorithm (Recovery, Bulk, Absorption, Float, Refresh), offering optimised charging and maintenance for various battery chemistries including open/sealed lead acid, gel, and Ni-Cd.Equipped with automatic diagnostics and real-time battery status monitoring, the CB6012A ensures precise fault detection including reverse polarity, disconnection, or shorted cells. A built-in power supply mode can be enabled via software to deliver a stable output of 11–14.1VDC at 5A, making it suitable for continuous operation in backup systems.Protection features include short circuit, reverse polarity, overload, thermal, and overvoltage protections. The unit offers volt-free relay contacts for signalling AC fail, battery fault, and low battery conditions. With an IP20-rated polycarbonate housing, convection cooling, and operation from -25°C to +70°C, the CB6012A is well-suited for industrial, automation, and security system applications requiring continuous DC backup and dependable battery management.
