Description
The MEAN WELL DUPS40 is a 24V DIN rail uninterruptible DC-UPS module designed to maintain continuous operation of critical DC-powered equipment during mains or power supply interruptions. Installed alongside a DC power supply and external 24V lead-acid battery, the DUPS40 automatically transfers the connected load to battery power when the normal supply is lost, helping prevent interruption to industrial control, automation and monitoring systems. Rated for loads up to 40A, the module supports 4Ah to 135Ah lead-acid batteries and provides a 2A charging current. Integrated diagnostics monitor DC bus status, battery failure and battery discharge, with dedicated relay contacts and green, red and yellow LED indicators providing clear operating information. Protection includes battery reverse polarity, short circuit, over-discharge current and deep-discharge protection, with battery discharge disconnected below 21V. The fanless unit operates from -30°C to +70°C and measures 63 × 125.2 × 113.5mm for DIN rail installation.
