Description
The CBI485A is a compact 48V 5A all-in-one DC-UPS that combines a power supply, battery charger, and backup module in a single DIN-rail mountable unit. It uses ADELSystem's smart Battery Care algorithm for 5-stage IUoU charging—Boost, Bulk, Absorption, Float, and Recovery—providing safe, efficient, and automated charging for a wide range of battery types including Lead Acid, Li-Ion, and Ni-Cd.With automatic load prioritisation, the unit supplies power to the load first, then to the battery, avoiding the need to oversize the power supply. The system features short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, real-time battery diagnostics with LED blink codes, and dry contact relays for remote signalling. It supports continuous operation with or without battery backup and can deliver up to 15A to the load during peak demand.Monitoring and alarms are available via signal relays and front-facing diagnostic LEDs. External accessories such as temperature sensors and remote displays are supported via RJ45 ports.
