Description
The MEAN WELL NSP-500-5 is a high-current 5VDC enclosed power supply delivering up to 90A and 450W for industrial automation, electronic equipment, networking and other high-reliability applications. Its ultra-wide 85–305VAC input incorporates PFC for broad mains compatibility. The 5V output is adjustable from 4.7V to 5.5V and achieves 90% typical efficiency. A temperature-controlled internal fan provides forced-air cooling, with typical noise of 45dB. Built-in Remote ON/OFF enables external power management, while Remote Sense compensates for wiring voltage drop and the DC OK signal provides output-status monitoring. Comprehensive short-circuit, overload, over-voltage and over-temperature protection supports dependable operation.
