Description
The KAA-4R4V-S dimming actuator is a 4-channel device equipped with high-quality independent latching relays for turning LED drivers or electronic ballasts on or off. It is compatible with all MEAN WELL LED drivers and is designed for seamless integration into KNX building automation systems. Each channel supports a defined number of drivers, simplifying installation planning.Engineers can configure the KAA-4R4V-S via ETS software or manually operate it using physical buttons on the device. Each channel includes a green LED for status indication. The compact modular format (72 mm wide, 4 units) makes it easy to mount on 35 mm DIN rails in KNX systems. The device connects to the KNX bus using a dedicated terminal and supports KNX Data Secure, providing added protection against unauthorised access or tampering.A 0(1)-10V DC interface enables dimming via current sinking, supporting linear or logarithmic dimming curves, ideal for energy-saving strategies and sensor-based lighting control. No external power supply is required, as the unit is powered directly from the EIB/KNX bus. The KAA-4R4V-S offers excellent performance, multi-functionality, and high reliability for modern smart buildings.
