The IP TP media coupler KSR series is a KNXnet/IP routing and tunnelling device that acts as a KNX IP line/area coupler. It doesn’t require an external power supply, making it a convenient, space-saving solution. Designed for easy network integration, the KSR can address all bus devices within a KNX system, simplifying network operations.LED indicators show operational states, filtering status, and faults, and the firmware can be updated via the device’s built-in web front-end page. The KSR series links Ethernet/KNX IP and KNX TP, allowing for commissioning, addressing, parameter setting, visualisation, and diagnostic communication between different KNX media types.The KSR includes telegram filtering based on ETS filter tables and bus hierarchy rules. Message traffic can be temporarily blocked via a button press or reconfigured from the subline without requiring a new ETS download. Temporary routing to other lines can be enabled even without downloading the full ETS project.
