Description
The MEAN WELL MPM-90-48 is a compact PCB-mount medical power module delivering 48VDC at 1.88A with 90.2W continuous convection-cooled output. Its 10-second peak capability increases output to 2.07A and 99.2W, supporting equipment with temporary higher power demands. The module accepts 80–264VAC or 113–370VDC input and achieves 93% typical efficiency. Medical safety performance includes 2 x MOPP isolation, ultra-low touch current and suitability for BF applications with appropriate system design. Class II insulation and EMI Class B performance support integration into sensitive medical equipment, complemented by short-circuit, overload, over-voltage and over-temperature protection. The compact PCB-mount design measures 87 × 52 × 29.5mm.
